Elizabeth and Dave’s wedding at Villa del Balbianello was a spectacular, romantic celebration filled with beauty and meaningful moments. The day was designed as a continuous journey through the villa, allowing guests to experience every iconic space. Upon arrival, guests enjoyed a welcome drink in the fountain area while a string quartet of four musicians performed from elevated podiums, setting an enchanting tone.
The ceremony took place in the Loggia Durini, where a soft pastel palette – peach, pink, and light green – surrounded the couple as they stood on a delicate round white stage framed by the villa’s famous arches. The celebration continued in the Loggia Segre for the aperitif, accompanied by additional live musicians.
For the reception, guests moved to the lakeside terraces, where an elegant marquee, custom-built overnight, revealed a stunning setup of round tables, joyful colors, and a beautifully lit stage. The evening unfolded with vibrant live entertainment – singers, musicians, trumpets, and guitarists – leading to a spectacular firework display during the cake cutting.
